Pair of Grainger's Royal China Works Ewers

This is a magnificent pair of antique porcelain ewers from the Grainger's Worcester factory which amalgamated with the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company in 1889, so these would pre-date that year. They stand about 24cm tall and are in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. They are beautifully handpainted with flowers and foliage and are not mirror images but complement each other perfectly as a true pair should. The handles are elaborately moulded with masks at the base , all perfectly gilded.

This is a rare item in superb condition and should appeal to discerning collectors of Worcester porcelain.
