Superb antique early Royal Worcester chinoisserie style globular footed vase

This is a wonderful example of the high quality porcelain produced by the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company in the 1860s/70s. It is a lavishly decorated globular shape vase on 3 partly reticulated feet, and with a reticulated band below the neck. It has beautiful raised enamelling and gilding in the form of flowers and foliage, with a light all-over dusting of gilt. The glaze has a high gloss.

On the base is the mark which was used from 1862 to 1877. The year letter is too faint to be legible so I cannot date the vase more precisely. The numbers 754 are impressed beside the mark.

The vase stands 4 1/2'' or 11cm tall and is in excellent condition with only some wear to the gilding on the feet but no other wear , damage or restoration.

This is a delightful example of antique Royal Worcester porcelain which will be of interest to discerning collectors and would be a fine addition to a collection of quality porcelain.
